Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Compassionately intolerant

You know what might help? Just using a little more eyebrow pencil to make your eyebrows pop a bit more to pull attention down. Short pixie cuts work when they bring attention to the eyes

David! That is fantastic advice...really constructive...which is truly priceless, in my current mood.

It just so happens that I picked up one of those huge makeup collections with the 27 eye shadows, 3 blushes, 15 lip glosses, etc. in a holiday bin at the CVS. It featured 4 eyebrow pencils to go along with a lovely dark brown kohl I got from a friend.

This is going to be the week I experiment with it.

Sincerely, thank you. You've lifted my spirits considerably with a a doable plan. Cheers.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You're more than welcome.

Free feel to take lots of pictures and share them.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I'm sorry to hear about people's sucky days, but decent turnarounds.

I've been doing lesson plans for Oedipus, Beowulf and Virgina Woolf, all the background cultural stuff. It's a trippy mix of research -- Greek, Anglo-Saxon and Victorian/Edwardian.

I may have gotten a bit sidetracked.

That sounds fantastic. Ah, I miss teaching English. Although researching the history of the women's movement for this week's class on feminism is also fun. Not as fun as Beowulf though.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Skippy McSkipperson: I only just now arrived in the Bay Area. I left my house around 2:30pm. Gassed up. Got to the approach of the Tejon Pass and saw a sign saying they'd closed everything down to one lane. From the time traffic slowed down to the time I reached the town of Grapevine took 3 HOURS. I am fried beyond fried right now. I'd love to sleep in but I've got a doctor's appt. tomorrow.

I'll reiterate that if any Buffistas wanna meet, just drop me a line. I'm meeting some FriendFeed folk up here as well as some offline acquaintances.

Continued ~ma for WS.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay for WS going home soon. Continued ~ma headed her way.

H canceled babysitting today because G is sick today, but now I can't seem to get back to sleep.

Our wings are not tired.

Windsparrow, may all the comfort and love that you have sent in our direction countless times in the past loop back multiplied to welcome you home.
