I've been doing lesson plans for Oedipus, Beowulf and Virgina Woolf, all the background cultural stuff. It's a trippy mix of research -- Greek, Anglo-Saxon and Victorian/Edwardian.

That sounds fantastic. Ah, I miss teaching English. Although researching the history of the women's movement for this week's class on feminism is also fun. Not as fun as Beowulf though.
Skippy McSkipperson: I only just now arrived in the Bay Area. I left my house around 2:30pm. Gassed up. Got to the approach of the Tejon Pass and saw a sign saying they'd closed everything down to one lane. From the time traffic slowed down to the time I reached the town of Grapevine took 3 HOURS. I am fried beyond fried right now. I'd love to sleep in but I've got a doctor's appt. tomorrow.
