Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm a bit off kilter today. Couple of things on my mind. Brandy seems to be losing her memory. Yesterday when I got home from work she got out of the car and walked across the street and up the steps to a neighbor's house - people we don't know. Then this morning when we went to the office she didn't seem to know which door. When I mentioned it to our receptionist he told me he has noticed the same thing when he walks her during the day. So I blocked part of the cat door so she can't get out because I'm worried she might get lost.

Then in the middle of the afternoon today my friend and employee suddenly says he has to go home and leaves. This guy was the best man at my wedding and DH's oldest friend. We all wondered what was up but he is a pretty private person so not surprised he didn't give a reason. So a little while ago DH calls me and tells me that his father has died and he was crying in his arms. His parents live in Jamaica and he likely will be taking over the dad's business as he is the eldest son. I don't even know if I will see him before he leaves.

2011, we gotta have a talk.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Laura}}} That sounds like a rough day. I'm sorry for your friend's loss.

I have to go to my new doctor tomorrow. I hate having to talk about all my medical stuff with a new person, not to mention the pain issue which is still no closer to being solved.

Much ~ma for Andi.

Laura, sympathies to your friend and to you, if indeed he has to leave you.

You might want to have a vet check Brandy's nose for an obstruction or anything else that might be limiting her olfactory capabilities. The nose is pretty much the 'heart' of a dog's memory, no pun intended.

Our wings are not tired.

That is a good idea, bonny. Her smell is her only good sense these days as she has been deaf for a while and her vision ain't what it used to be either. She actually wakes from a deep sleep if I leave the room which makes us believe she misses my scent.

Good luck tomorrow, sj. May the new doctor have new solutions that alleviate your pain.
