I'm hoping it's quick passing. Ibuprofen alleviated a lot of my symptoms, but I will be home tomorrow with Matilda. Never fun being sick taking care of a sick kid.
And I really need this to clear up quick, as we're scheduled to have a guest over on Wednesday night, plus I'll be tour guiding around the city.
~ma to all the sickos.
My xmas fail continues unabated. Went out this afternoon and found two tiny things for gifties, and a really nice agate necklace for myself. (It was half off! More than half, because it was originally $85 but the way they wrote it it looked like $58 so when I protested they gave it to me for half of that. So it was totally Not My Fault. Right?)
Much sick~ma to chez Zmayhem.
smonster, I'm doing the same thing, only with hard cider.
Ooh, are we self-medicating? I'm down with that. Except I can't decide what I want. Maybe some hot cider with Sailor Jerry's to take to the dog park.
I was sort of hoping for consumption *just* because of how cool it sounds. As a disease, however, it would suck. (And I've been immunized for it.)
See, this is better! All the retro, steam-punk cachet with none (or less) of the drowing in your own lungs.
Well, I have a cold. And I was thinking how many people I know have something, so I wasn't surprised I was sick. Then I remembered most of the people I know that are sick are on the internet. I don't think I caught this from internet people
Skipping bunches. {{DJ}} Also, massive amounts of health~ma and surgery~ma.
Still overworked and overwhelmed here. But healthy!
{{{ DJ }}}}
Tons of health~ma to thems that needs it. Y'all need to get healthy!
Mom's visit is half done. Drive her to the train station in the morning. So far, pretty low key. Things would be better if it wasn't pouring buckets.
~ma to all the sickos.
I just wanted to set this apart from the general conversation and admire it.
Oh, Daisy. I wish I could give you a hug and a bottle of good scotch right now.
What Plei said. I am so sorry, DJ. For the loss, for the not knowing, for the everything.
and just as an FYI, you 'adjust' to being short of breath. Most of the people I know that are asthmatic don't always recognizes how bad things are
::raises hand::
::coughs into elbow::
Yeah, when I moved here, my asthma got way worse and I didn't notice how bad it was until I actually could breathe again.
Dude, who GETS pleurisy?!?
Dunno. I got pertussis.
I will admit, it made me stop making consumption jokes immediately though. Because "Dude, who GETS olde fashioned disease?!?" is less funny when you, you know, get it.
Feel better, Tep.
You know, I've tried to give my cold away Neither my mom or youngest sister will take it.
