Let him do his thing, and then you get him out. No messing with him for laughs.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Awww. But one just emailed me to tell me how much she enjoyed my class, and that I'm the best teacher she's ever had.

You should print this out and save it. Not just to look at if you're feeling shitty about the job that you're doing, but when tenure apps and job opportunites come along, it's nice to have some hard evidence of your teaching skills.

is there any way to convince a 14 yo girl to stay away from a senior boy who has a reputation several miles long known by every school teacher and administrator and most parents of upper class girls?

um, do all of the stuff that they're doing? The lure of the forbidden is strong. This is a tough situation. unfortunately, the only thing to do is to allow her to get hurt and be there for her when it happens. And pray to whatever diety that there are no long term implications.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

That's one I hear floating around parenting boards all the time, but as far as I know it's an urban myth.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Aims, I'm just thrilled for you. You all have had a really tough road to hoe for awhile, and slowly -- through persistent and hard work things are starting to turn around for you.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Did I remember to mention that Daniel and I got up early, and drove up in my car to Minneapolis to buy a truck? He bought it, and drove it on to work. I drove my car back home, and got a measly one hour nap and now I am off to work soon.

And what's with all the carrots?

has anyone here ever tried vaporub on their feet to stop nighttime coughing?

We do it with the kids, along with the vapo on the chest covered with a towel and a warm washcloth for 5 minutes. I think it helps a lot.

Don't know about coughing but works like champ to prevent reoccuring foot fungus.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Congrats Aims!

Good luck with the new truck, WS and DCJ. May it bear you many miles with no issues whatsoever.

Company party went fine. Now at mall waiting for sis and staring at a juliana lookalike.
