oooh, prescripton cough syrup w/ codeine is, like, the BEST THING EVAH. Imagine sleeping! Without coughing! And when you wake up in the middle of the night coughing, all you have to do is swallow another dose and then back to magic land.

Including my own-- my sinuses hurt like a mother and I'm fighting off the beginnings of a migraine. But I got errands done this morning including mailing off a long-overdue package and finally buying wreaths for our front door because I couldn't find our fake ones.

You should print this out and save it. Not just to look at if you're feeling shitty about the job that you're doing, but when tenure apps and job opportunites come along, it's nice to have some hard evidence of your teaching skills.

um, do all of the stuff that they're doing? The lure of the forbidden is strong. This is a tough situation. unfortunately, the only thing to do is to allow her to get hurt and be there for her when it happens. And pray to whatever diety that there are no long term implications.
