Book: Where's the doctor? Not back yet? Zoe: (beat) We don't make him hurry for the little stuff. He'll be along. Book: He could hurry... a little.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Steph and Jilli, take care of yourselves!

My dinner is goat cheese on baguette, clemenntines, and an apple. And I'm watching PS I Love You. I'm going to regret that, aren't I?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Just concentrate JDM with an Irish accent. It'll be all good.

And get a box of tissue, just in case.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay for neighborhood snow-blowing benefactor.

“Not dead yet!”

The biggest problem with P.S. I Love You is Hillary Swank, whom I cannot buy as a romantic leading lady in any way, shape or form.

But the male eye candy in that movie makes up for it.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Blech. Just woke up from a nap with an asthma attack, and my sinuses and ear hurt. Why can't my respiratory system just work the way it's supposed to?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

it takes a while for the crash to happen, like my subconscious stays on alert for a month or two afterwards, just in case more trauma happens. THEN I hit the wall.

Ahahahaha. Yes, I am very familiar with this sort of pattern.

Whooo, I had a (not-really-a-surprise) SA, meara, and Plei visit! And they brought me Candy Cane Jo-Jos!

(Pete, after they had left: "Do you want me to take the rest of those to D&D tomorrow?"

Me, clutching the box to my bosom: "Nooooo! I am putting them in the freezer. They are MY JO-JOS.")

My goodness, Jilli! What a testament to your strength of will that you have been able to function at ALL with both E-B AND Lyme. Gracious. That would put lesser mortals down.

I'm going to give the fungi perfecti preparation a try and can highly recommend Wellness Formula by Source Naturals. It is the one supplement my local health food store runs out of. It really helped me last winter and given that I'm now, post-pneumonia, I'll be looking to it for support this year!

I just assumed that everyone else always felt run down, borderline exhausted, and creaky, so there was no point fussing about it. (When I told my doctor that, she honest-to-God facepalmed.)

I've certainly done this with other things in my life. When you think about it, unless you had a reason to question your assumptions, why would you?

That is what is amazing about any world (or internal) view, once you get an appreciation of alternatives, it can blow your mind. You mean I don't HAVE to be tired/miserable/etc. all the time? Whoddathunkit!?
