I don't screw with this because I understand it can change, but I'm immune to poison ivy.
I thought I was for about 25 years. Then it turned on me.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I learned this summer that I am in no way immune to poison ivy. And that I am so very grateful that I don't live on a continent where it grows.
Okay my first secret Santa gift is made...
I talked to Daniel a few minutes ago - at the time he was about 3 blocks from where he works. He should be there by now. I hope. And they haven't plowed the parking lot yet, so I'm sure it will be wonderful hiking in. Poor guy.
Windsparrow, that's just ridiculous. Much safety~ma to Daniel.
How long did it ultimately take him, Andi? Like three hours? That's insane!
Yeah, almost three hours. At one point he'd got stuck in a snowbank, and somebody helped him get out of it. Don't know how long that took, but still, yeah, totally ridiculous.
Sheesh. Poor guy.
I have to get the driveway shoveled. I have to. It has to be done today, while the temperatures are not so horrible. Tomorrow and Monday the high is supposed to be 0. Farenheit, not centigrade. This morning, during a lull in the storm, I shoveled the sidewalk, and then it started snowing again. Worse, the wind kicked up. I don't know how much of what I'm dealing with now is new snow, and how much is snow that somebody else already shoveled out of their own yard which has blown over here. So in addition to shoveling the sidewalk again just now, I managed to do all of three feet of the driveway before needing to take a break. Insert cusswords here. I'm taking a water and potato chips break now. Then I have to go back out there.
Stay warm, Windsparrow.
I've finally gotten out of my pjs and gotten productive. Fighting depression and overwhelm. It's cold and rainy here.
