You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The peppermint Joe-Joes trouble me. But I should note that I am NOT a fan of mint. Once in a while I will eat a candy cane, but that's more for the tradition and the sugar rush than anything. So I fail to see the point of ruining a perfectly excellent Joe-Joe by adding mint.

Tim, however, loves them and so they're a weekly purchase during the holiday season. I try to stock up before they're gone, but I usually miss it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Joes Joes are excellent! But I like the mixture of chocolate and mint (see York Peppermint Patties).

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I would whimper piteously for someone to bring me candy cane Joe Joes, but I just remembered that I have a chocolate croissant waiting for me in one of the cabinets.

ION, wow, I am tired of being sick. I would really like to have more than a week of being healthy between bouts of the plague.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Laura, best of luck to you.

I am ridiculously tired and sore. I'm drinking some wine and going to bed. My landlord is supposed to be coming by tomorrow. I called to find out what time, and he has not responded. I hope it's not early because I'll likely still be in bed.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

And again I say !!!, Barb.

Laura, I hope everything works out with your son. 18 is the age one is very likely to contract severe headupyourassitis.

Ohh, the talk reminds me that 1) KC is FINALLY getting a TJ's in 2011 (WOO!) and 2) I have Thin Mints awaiting pickup for me. Must get on the last!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Good luck, Laura.

And Barb... I volunteer to start a "Woman, get your own life" fund for the one who is making your nightmare into her life. Now words, really.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The peppermint Joe-Joes trouble me.

I have not had the Joe-Joes themselves, but I am digging the ice cream. I think I must try all the flavors now. ZOMG, the Trader Joe's Premium Mint Chocolate Chip is SO GOOD. And it's not even green!

Wow. Picture of the fire from a satellite, in the first page of Haaretz in Hebrew: [link]

Librarian Warlord

I've said this before and I'll say it again, I don't understand you people who like toothpaste flavored cookies, ice cream, etc! Now, if you can find me ice cream flavored toothpaste, we'll talk.

Laura, I hope that son coming home is a success.

Shir, that fire is so . . . disturbing.

Our wings are not tired.

So I did my annual check to see if there are any Trader Joes in my future. Closest store, Atlanta. Oh well. Guess I need to visit TJ having Buffistas more often.

Laura! Come visit me in New Orleans, you're not so far away, right?

We've driven there! It took about 14 hours. We normally would fly but the whole family went because I was doing a marathon. I've been back a couple times for business and the the F2F, but another visit would be grand.

Son is home. We really didn't talk last night. Just let him get settled in. Of course he is still asleep. We'll see how it goes.
