I am all about Ghana. (still have not watched one single WC game).
It is HOT out. I have run all the errands I needed to. Now laundry and cleaning. My mom gets here tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow is the last day of school for mac, he's a little wound up.
Made blueberry scones with the ones we picked yesterday. they are yum. Next up for baking: Banana chocolate chip muffins. Next up for the berries we picked yesterday: probably turnovers.

I am cheering myself up with the Argentina-Mexico game. Whoever wins or loses, it won't be quite so upsetting.
Is Mexico playing now? My co workers are Mexican and my boss is from Ghana so I have to keep up on the WC. I mean, I like it but I'm waiting for Brazil now.
banana choc chip muffins in the oven now. I think that will be all the cooking for the day, too damn hot.

Patrick Boivin, the filmmaker behind the Iron Baby clip, has created another absurdly cute short. In "AT-AT Day Afternoon," Boivin recasts the scourge of Echo Base as man's best friend. Look out for its droppings, though. They're kind of icky.

food update from today's baking:
finished a bag of choc chips and the whole wheat flour. Also finished a jar of green olive spread.
I think I just vacuumed my own weight in dead skin cells.
