Update: Lily and Matilda still adore each other.

OMG ded.
Ah-door-ee-blay!
Cutest pals ever.
They just spent 20 minutes brushing their teeth and comparing sparkly toothpastes and talking about their toddler potties (Matilda's has a blue hole, Lilly's was red but she thinks she must have lost it somewhere) and another 20 taking turns trying on Matilda's Batman suit, and now Matilda's in her Easter dress with the sketches of Paris and Lilly's wearing one of Matilda's dresses and they're happily watching The Princess and the Frog.
Awwww! I just broke into a chorus of "Frienship." So frigging adorable, it HURTS me, man.
they are too cute for words.
had a lovely day with friends. berry picked lots of blue berries and raspberries, the strawberries were all gone though. mac played well all yesterday and today right up until they left and he had swiped a game and then threw a fit. So so sad about them leaving and then about us moving away. poor noodle.
Aww, adorableness.
Poor noodle.
In other news, Mark and I are planning a trip to New Orleans next weekend to see a college friend of his, and just to visit -- I've never been, though Mark went to Tulane. But it turns out that, um, every single hotel and B&B in the area is booked solid! Yikes! We may try to beg some floor/couch space from his friend, but if that's not forthcoming, I'm not sure what we'll do. I really want to go!
OMG! New Orleans! I live there! I am not sure what our deal is, we might be going to Baton Rouge for a day or two, but let me know if you continue to have problems finding a place to stay- we have a queen sized air mattress here (also 2 cats)
It is possible that Matilda and Lily are the ultimate reason for the invention of the camera.
The Braves game was very warm. Braves win! Chipper's home run was his 200th in Turner Field and tied him with Cal Ripkin in total homers. After the homer came an excruciating top of the ninth, in which there was a Tigers home run; many foul balls; and many walks, including four in a row to force a run in, before the umpire finally remembered there was a strike zone. The person in front of us was a Tigers' fan who had missed the concept that there is a civilized limit to the amount of trash talking one does about the home team, particularly in the midst of people who are beginning to wonder if anyone has ever been beaten to death with a foam finger. (I bet the foam finger sellers get someone saying "Give me the finger" a hundred times a game.)
I will stop talking about baseball now.
