this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It totally looks like a monocle in that picture! Which made him seem good-looking AND sophisticated. Or possibly like the Monopoly guy, but without the handlebar mustache and top hat.

I'll put up the link to the webpage after I turn it in so y'all can check it out!

I started poking around Amazon for potential book titles, and found out that Donald Johanson wrote a sequel to Lucy that was published just last year! It's on its way to my apartment as I type this, as is another mentioned on the Amazon page. The teacher wants us to keep the publication date for all the titles within the past 5-7 years, but I'm rereading Lucy right now to see if it's worth putting it on my pathfinder as a seminal work.

I also want to include some of the various Nova documentaries on my list, and I'm thinking about adding two secondary lists that aren't required--one for the evolution/creationism-ID issue where I'll mention the Frontline documentary on the Kansas Board of Education case and even put up the link to the Discovery Institute to be "balanced" (and then never speak of them again--ptui!), and a short list of children's titles.

And, yes, I'm normally the one working on my projects at 3:00 am the morning it's due. But, I can't do that with this one--too much research involved, and I've never created my own webpage before, so I want to get the list assembled before delving into web design.

Because books.

Perkins, that's pretty awesome. (And it does look like a monocle!)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Perkins, your grandfather was amazing. Mathematical astronomy of ancient civilizations! Standing up to Nazis! Oppenheimer!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks!

(not that I had anything to do with it)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OKay, I'm going to have a bowl of silly cereal for dinner and then I'm going right to bed for a good night's sleep. Right to bed. No extensive AU slash reading because it has good "moments", They weren't good enough, and led to insomnia. And the bed in the sex scene is still weirding you out.

Thanks. I will only read short stories while I eat.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Awesome, Perkins! He looks like Guy Pearce.
