Mmm, I actually took a nap. Crazy. I never take naps, but I laid down for a half an hour, and actually fell asleep!

Then I went to the pool where the kiddo was with his day camp, kept him there when they took off, and we did the waterslides and practiced his swimming in the deep end.

He swims like a drunk bumblebee. We're working on it.

Then we got burgers at a drive-through and home, where I will get stuff done for my OMG SUPERAWESOME BACHELORETTE RIVER WEEKEND.

I have excited asscaps. Pardon me. But the weather looks to be PERFECT. 90 and mostly sunny both days.

I am ridic tired. I think I have been drinking too much caffeine. tonight it is bed at 9.

Homework -- done. Writing about the readings -- done and posted to the class website. Class to begin in 7 minutes (if everyone gets here in the bad traffic).

I just had supermarket roast chicken. It's inevitable that I have that when there's a sick cat in the house. Poor Clio. She does seem to be hungry and enjoying the chicken. And so far, no pooping or puking.

I just got back from a mani-pedi at a place that gave us champagne. The champagne came in flavors. Which made me think, "Bubbly Boone's Farms!"

Class is starting. I hope it's shorter than supposed to be--I'm not really in the mood today.

I am lying on my posting on my new laptop which I FINALLY got to logon to the 'net, (Thanks to Dell's helpful people. Not kidding.)

My cat is lying next to me purring. I had to forcefully (and yet gently) move her away from the computer.
