hip deep in pie

I just had supermarket roast chicken. It's inevitable that I have that when there's a sick cat in the house. Poor Clio. She does seem to be hungry and enjoying the chicken. And so far, no pooping or puking.

6:07, and no teacher yet! She's probably stuck on the Eisenhower.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love my team. They are big-brained and they are nice, and they are patient, and they even let me explain things to other developers, which, really? Me?

They need to keep you forever, ita!

I just got back from a mani-pedi at a place that gave us champagne. The champagne came in flavors. Which made me think, "Bubbly Boone's Farms!"

Class is starting. I hope it's shorter than supposed to be--I'm not really in the mood today.

Art Crawl!!!

I am lying on my posting on my new laptop which I FINALLY got to logon to the 'net, (Thanks to Dell's helpful people. Not kidding.)

My cat is lying next to me purring. I had to forcefully (and yet gently) move her away from the computer.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Moveable posting is the best, sumi! I finally got a laptop is March, after wanting one for YEARS, and being tied to my monster desktop.

Soooo much better for me.

Our wings are not tired.

And...despite the nonclinical whining...the EDMS contract is signed! Hope this $200K investment doesn't kick my ass.

I wanna be home with my kitty!

On break right now. Teacher just went over the details for our big semester-ending pathfinder project, which is worth 30% of our final grade. I'm really looking forward to doing it! I'm such a geek--the topic I chose was Hominids. Now I get to come up with book titles, articles, websites, professinoal organizations, and any other media sources for my list. I really want it to be kick-ass, so after I finish my database presentation for next week, I'm going to get started on putting the pathfinder together, even though it's not due until August 5th.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

YAY! Fedex guy just came with my spiffy new dvd player courtesy Perkins! Whoot! Got it all hooked up and it works great. It's such a great thing, because ours broke and we couldn't afford to replace it right now. It's a luxury item, so with our mortgage jumping $200/month, it really didn't come up on the list. But! I'm so happy to have it!

Thank you Perkins!
