Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We did always hear that Montreal was on a fault line, but I have to admit I didn't totally believe it.

I experienced at least one quake while I lived there. I seem to chase fault lines and bodies of water. At least in London there were no quakes, but Jamaica--my god, we lost half a city one time.

And then we got bits back.

Snacking on fruit again. This won't end well.

Those crazy kids are still playing. I want to cry for them. And run them epsom ice baths.

Okay, dig this. Isner has 85 aces and 9 double faults. He got the ace record at 51. No one's getting that back in a hurry.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I guess there was an earthquake that was felt in S. Ontario and even NYC?

As far south as Cincinnati. Seriously.

Dear god, can't the tennis players agree to come back tomorrow or something?? That's insane!!

Earthquake in new York is creepy, but better than one where I am, is my feeling.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Happy birthday, Steph!

Aaaand from way back:

Does anyone here happen to know of some miraculous method of getting rid of the the flipping dark circles under your eyes?

zusia, I've had good luck with applying vitamin K cream at night. (You can find it at most health food & vitamin stores.) Also, the UK cosmetic brand Boots (available at Target in the USA) makes a concealer called "Radiant Glow" which is pretty good at toning down dark circles. (It's a duplicate for YSL's Touch Eclat concealer, which is awesome, but is also $40 a tube.)

(What? I know makeup. My giant package of Aromaleigh eye shadow that I won for writing descriptions for the new line will be arriving ANY DAY NOW. Then I will never run out of Apocalypse Pansy.)

Man! If there's ever a big one on this coast the whole thing is going to shake apart.
