Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

and every time I yell, "I don't care if it rhymes! It's WRONG!" but Bono does not listen to me.

Oh Zenkitty, Bono does not listen to anybody.

He starts to sing to himself: "'In this ever changing world...' It's funny. There's too many 'ins.' I'm not sure. I'd have to have actually look. I don't think about the lyric when I sing it. I think it's 'in which we're living.' 'In which we're living.' Or it could be 'in which we live in.' And that's kind of, sort of, wronger but cuter. That's kind of interesting. 'In which we live in.' In which we live in! I think it's 'In which we're living.'"

We're going to need a lot more weed...

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy Birthday, la Tep!

I'm just waiting for the blackberries in my backyard to be ripe. I like being able to walk out and pick a bowl of blackberries.

Mine are just now blossoming. Actually I saw blossoms starting last week. But still, it feels late.

No.

The blossoms are too close to the wafty pollen. It's still plant sex.

It's not okay with me until it's fruit. Plant babies, if you will. To nom. For my sneezes, I shall nom their offspring.

Oranges, for the record, are exempt. I far prefer their blossoms to their fruit. Best smell ever.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Unrelatedly: I still have a crush on Jenna von Öy.

Huh.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I don't know if I've ever smelled orange blossoms -- at least in the wild, so to speak.

Hippo Birdies, even if slightly belated, Steph!
