See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

the London mascots look exactly how I would have expected them to look. They're straight out of the CBeebies lineup.

Ah ha ha! I was just saying almost exactly this to Hec before I got to your comment (plus bonus Kat-echoing Muno reference). I also image Googled the Doctor Who adipose aliens for him. Freaky and horrible, sure, but completely unsurprising.

The Grace At Home and Noah Sharing updates are so great. It seems like it was just a few weeks ago that you posted the completely unbelievable news that Grace might be coming home soon, and now here she is, already there. Your home is full of Grace.

Coding and Sleeping

he makes the same mistake that Dave Weigel does in rushing to reassure people that Rand Paul isn’t a racist so much as a hard core ideologue,

Well, that's pretty much what I said too. But I don't think there is anything honorable if your views are coming from hard core ideology. At some point, a libertarian is going to admit that there need to be some laws for society to operate, that Rand Paul doesn't believe Civil Rights is one of them is telling.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Perkins, I have a graphics thing to do for you, don't I? I will definitely do that this morning.

Today I think I will wear my dragon tights and my short stompy boots with the denim skirt. If I were a little more relaxed I'd wear my Alice Cooper long-sleeved T, but no. Other people wear T-shirts, but I'd feel weird.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am kind of embarrassed to say.

Ahahaha, you do remember that I've done tasting menus at The French Laundry and other such places. But no worries, through the wonders of the internet I am sure I can find out on my own!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh dear. [link]

Recently images of a lightsaber-wielding Batman fighting Darth Vader and then a shark tickled the point-and-giggle-gleefully glands of geeks all over the internets.

Now, in an unabashed attempt to Win the Internets, Liz Marek of Artisan Cake Company (formerly of Star Wars cupcakes fame) has combined Batman, Darth Vader, lightsabers, and sharks with a cake.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I read RuPaul instead of Rand Paul at the start of brenda's post.

Thanks for the mental image of RuPaul as a Paulian Libertarian. I seriously needed the laugh -- it's been one of those days.

Oh, and here's the Batman fighting Darth Vader painting that I hadn't seen before: [link]

Batman must have some Bat-anti-force-chocking device in his utility belt, huh?
