You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ooh, but me! I`ll be driving through KC on my way to Indy! I think. Unless we go Tulsa way. And we`ll probably be in Dallas sometime late in the summer.

Ooh, when, Liese? You should totally call me. Gud lives in KC, too, and I think dcp is near! (Hi, dcp! Email me your addy for wedding invite!)

Cash, I would be a mite pissed, too. I've dealt with head lice clean up a couple of times when working at the shelter, and it's a LOT of work.

smonster, um. You are nicer than me. Palin is a moron, who needs some seriously painful cluesporking.

I agree with msbelle. Reschedule your birthday. Or just extend it.

absolutely. I just had my final birthday dinner on Thursday, so exactly a month after my actual birthday.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I saw a bumper sticker this morning: "Former embryo on board." It made me rethink my entire stance on abortion! And then I wanted to punch the driver in the face. And by face I mean blastula.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The most accomplished tennis player in the history of Jamaica

Huh. That makes my cousins doings look better in comparison. She's ranked in the mid-200s. Mid-100s, doubles. She toys with saying she's from Jamaica. I don't want her to. I think it's cheating.

From that article:

She sat next to Brown on Sunday, a mom with blonde hair with her dreadlocked son.

Whoa. Mindfuck.

Man did Portugal kick North Korea's ass today.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Next Sunday maybe? Or possibly the following Wednesday? Departure plans are currently being tempered by health. OR! We could try for the way back, at the end of July, which is a) more likely I`ll actually be taking the route through KC and b) would give us more time to figure something out. I might be in Dallas sometime late summer, too.

As my friend said on his status " did Portugal really have to open up the entire can of whoop ass on North Korea? I mean, they just could have used a little. The entire can was unnecessary."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey, isn't this where we were discussing songs with our names? I just had one pop up for megan walker on my iTunes.

Cool beans. I have the extra fondness for St. Etienne because Bob Stanley from that group is also a journalist and gave us a great review for the Lost in the Grooves book in some UK Paper.

I've finished all my freelance work and am oddly unstressed this morning. I got everybody off to their various places in a timely fashion (Matilda to preschool, Emmett to Krav camp) and even made it home to snag the Good Parking.

My only responsibility now is to scoop up some CDs to sell at Amoeba and lurk around the mailbox hoping for some of my outstanding checks to arrive. I billed you, dammit! Why don't you pay me!

Speaking of paying bills, I just made my car payment for the month, and my current balance is $2222. It's the little things that please me!
