I don't know about you guys, but I've had it with super-strong little women who aren't me.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Day 2 of a horrendous headache. Not migraine level, thankfully, but not too far from it. Bleck.

I'll take "Wake up Little Suzi" and "I love you, Suzi Q" (ok, maybe they spell Suzi different, but it sounds the same). I disown "Runaround Sue" cause that is the one nickname, above most others, that will get your a scowl and then ignored.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

"Gina...Gina. All for my very own."

I know that song! I grew Up listening to Mathis. I learned to dance standing on Dad's feet, shuffling around to Mathis songs.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh, I meant to mention that the name Hillary gets a mention in TISM's tribute to River Phoenix, "(He'll Never Be An) Old Man River". (Edmund Hillary, but still.)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Dear Co-Worker:

I understand bad moods. But if someone says "Good morning" and uses your name, then you fucking acknowledge them with more than a scowl.

Ta, ever so. You great big dick.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Mememe whine.

Ugh, I'm so tired of being unhealthy. I've been coughing up globs of neon green junk for over a week now (or blowing it out of my nose). That's finally getting to be less of a thing, but the coughing has been so spasmodically violent that I've thrown my back out. And between the two problems, I haven't gotten a decent nights sleep since this upper respiratory thing hit.

Thank god my doctor prescribed the good cough syrup (the kind with codeine), but even limiting that to bedtime, I'm still sleeping like crap. I will take having my back keeping me tossing and turning over being woken up by yet another coughing fit, but I'd just like this to be over, please.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I also believe I shall be trying that tomato sauce soon.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I have the day off from work! My goals are:

  • get nails done
  • dye hair
  • watch Farscape DVDs
  • take nap

Oh, and I have to bake a birthday cake. Hopefully the groceries will come early. (My delivery slot is 2-4 - if they're here at 2 I can bake and be done before I pick Dylan up from daycare. If they're here at 4 I'll have to do it tonight.)
