Gavin, ask yourself this question. What are you more afraid of, a giant murderous demon or me?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hahahaha!

Controversy has rocked the Andrew Cuomo campaign following comments made by the Attorney General's mother about his girlfriend's lasagna. The dish is reportedly Cuomo's favorite, despite the fact that Sandra Lee, a Food Network host, makes it with canned tomato soup and cottage cheese. Asked about the recipe in an interview with NY1 yesterday, Andrew's mother Matilda said, "I don't know that that's true. You know, maybe she puts cottage cheese because he doesn't want to put on weight. That's not the way you make a lasagna."

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Jessica, that is hysterical! Also, tomato soup!?!?!

Apparently Thomas Dekker is going to play Lance Loud in a tv show that fictionalizes The American Family: [link]

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Also "Once In Love With Amy," but I think only old people know that one anymore.

Ply her with bon-bons, poetry, and flowers. Moon a million hours away....

I love that song. I have versions of it by Ray Bolger (from the musical "Charley's Aunt", I think) as well as Barry Manilow and Mel Torme.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Have people been following the story of the South Carolina Senate race, with the mystery candidate?

I certainly have--very VERY freaky. My first real love (who was my most-serious high school boyfriend) is campaign manager for his opponent. He is quoted in Time as a "silver-haired beltway pro," which I just told him on FB made him sound like an aging gigolo.

I hope they include his later punk rock career with The Mumps.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Also, tomato soup!?!?!

Because tomato *sauce* isn't available in processed and packaged form.

Oh, wait.

Lasagna is like politics, everybody gets an opinion... Everybody’s right, nobody’s wrong.

THIS, my friends, is what's wrong with America today.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Okay, so, I'm way behind on my US news, but.... what the hell is going on with a Mystery Candidate?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I remember from childhood that I did not warm to kids my parents made me associate with, as opposed to ones I chose to hang out with on my own. Frankly, I'd have rather spent time reading or playing by myself than be forced to waste time with them. I can see merit in having counselors try to get shy or antisocial kids to interact more with their peers, but discouraging close friendships seems insane to me.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's the lasagna.

Clearly if we fixed the lasagna we could stop the BP oil leak.

What's the best lasagna you ever had?

My best was an incredibly complicated recipe made by Emmett's godfather, Frank. It had two kinds of sauce, one made with sauteed chicken livers and the other a bechamel. So rich and flavorful.
