It is a good thing none of the Buffistas are employed by the city of Mansfield,OH. New dress code for city employees says fingernail polish must be "natural or modest" in color. No more than two earrings per ear for women. And WTF does hair shall not "exceed 1 1/4 inches in bulk regardless of length"? Are they banning afros?? (You also can't have hair within 1 inch of your EYEBROWS!!)

Well, his company has a huge filing due to the FDA on July 2nd, unfortunately. So he has done his part of the documentation, but they're waiting for more data before he can finish. Then of course once he finishes his bit, it's out for reviews. So, he won't know until that week whether he'd be able to come, and you know me, I can't deal with that uncertainty. So we'll hopefully settle our plans by this weekend. We'd both very much rather him come here. But, he knows *no one* in Boston except his nephew, and nephew will be out of town.
And so I just can't have my boyfriend work on his birthday and then go home to an empty apartment.
