Why I am continually paying for sewer service and wastewater treatment?

Because they keep providing it?

Coding and Sleeping

That's pretty typical for us.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why I am continually paying for sewer service and wastewater treatment?

Are you using the sewers and generating waste water?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

No, I know that. Like I said: I thought that's what taxes were for.

information libertarian

You pay city water taxes? I don't. Paying for sewer in addition to water is bog-standard. I mean, taxes could cover water too, right? But don't.

In some areas that might be part of the property tax but not in California. Prop 13 pretty much assured that.

California has no local taxes. It's mind boggling.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

California has no local taxes. It's mind boggling.

Huh. I'm guessing that kind of explains the budget problem.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My water bill is about $30/month. I'd be shocked if I got a near-$100 water bill, even in the summer.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hi there! I've missed the board, but I've been too busy with work and family lately. But I wanted to drop in and say hello.

And happy belated birthday to Dylan and javachik
