She is freakishly young! I hadn't thought. She doesn't look super young, even when hanging out with the history teacher, so I had no idea. She's only 2 years older than the girl playing her niece.
Hmm, I guess the town elders do take him seriously. But then no one tells him to stop being a creeper for hitting on all the high school girls.
(Why do I watch such silly TV, is what I want to know! But I totally adore the Vampire Diaries)
Brenda, my brother and sil's dog was a rescue, and she was very neglected (living under a trailer in Tennessee). It took a few months for her to come out of her shell and be willing to play/cuddle/etc.
Did you try peanut butter in a Kong? I hear that's like crack for dogs.
Shopping on eBay again. Having gone back on a diet, I'm taking up one of my other vices again. One vice active at a time. I'm glad maxi dresses are back in style. I like them. Am I the only one who hates the combination of florals with animal prints?

Tried that. She just said no.
(I even tried the double whammy of PB
and
cat chow. No go.)
Honestly, she's extremely well behaved, so not being food motivated is not a bad thing. But I'll feel better when I can figure out her wants a bit more. When we come in from a walk she hovers around looking at me and she so clearly is expecting
something
to happen. But it's not treats, not petting or playing, not fresh water...I'm stumped.

Aw. You guys will both be so excited when you stumble across it.
Truman did not eat treats until he decided he was finally part of our home. It took a couple of months. He was always a good, sweet dog, but he was also a rescue from a bad situation and it took time for him to trust us fully. Now he's a big adorable goofball who will happily take a treat, although he will carefully pull his lips back so as to grasp it delicately only with his teeth for some crazy dog reason.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly it. Ditto with the toys.
Oh man! I want a Google Voice invite. I'm so irked that I hadn't tried this before. I am stoopid.
Also, I think I might have to start saving for orthodontia now as Grace has vampire teeth + and underbite.
In other news, 64 ounces of iced tea, 20 ounces of green tea lemonade and a mimosa = too much liquid. My belly feels sloshy.
What is google voice.
Food update:
Half a can of tomato and green chili
Half a small brick of velveeta
Another pitcher of iced tea done
