When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

CTA should be fun today. Blackhawks rally, Cubs/Sox "Crosstown Classic" and Blues Fest. Oy. Glad I don't ride the redline (though really, none of them that go downtown will be good).

Lots of eye ~ma for your mother, Maria. I have a friend who had to have the surgery or lose the eye, and while it wasn't easy, she still managed to do it with two young children in the house.

I need to hunt and gather for food in the freezer, or there will be no dinner tonight.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Cash, can you send Owen down to NYC for the day? One of my co-workers has been locked out of his corporate account for no apparent reason.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Brenda, watch out for smug teenagers taking the day off of school!

Gronk! I made the mistake of drinking a cup of coffee at around 3pm yesterday and couldn't fall asleep until about 5am.

I had to get up early to walk my brother's dog. He and his family are in Puerto Rico for his oldest son's wedding. So, sister and I are babysitting his elderly dog, meanwhile sister-in-law's grand-dog is staying with us.

It's a doggy weekend.

Punishingly Intricate

ha, msbelle, that's a total Family Circus-style kid move.

sara, LOVE the whole style!!!

I need to find something to wear to a wedding in july (that my nemesis may be attending). I really want to find something new but am also not happy with my current size. I know it will be fine and I'll look fine in whatever but wah wah wah.

I got my foreign currency, but was unable to see John Waters speak (room was full),

I am LOVING his new book. I just read a section last night where he was hanging out at the super divey bar around the corner from me where we used to do karaoke in a Comme des Garcons suit.

We have company night at baseball tonight. Should be fun, it will be a beautiful night, but I'd also enjoy a sitting on the couch night.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Scrappy, you are going to tell us when your episode airs, right?

This! It should be now-ish, right??

I am LOVING his new book.

I need to get that. He was so great on Fresh Air. Hearts.
