What kind of plane?
A Cherokee Warrior PA28. The first lesson will mostly be going through safety checks and procedures, but my instructor said if there's time we'll take a short flight.
And all of this assumes we aren't dodging thunderstorms, which, given that it's NC in the summer, is a big assumption. But at least it's scheduled.
Oh, nice. That's certainly a step up from the Cessna 152.
Space is replaying Dr. Who M-Th, but I am almost finding too hard to go back and watch Nine. I will get to catch up on early Ten that I missed when I was rejecting the new Doctor.
Welcome to Synergon
That is both perfect and horrifying.
Matt, that is good to hear about your dad.
I currently get 22 holidays, 24 vacation days, 18 sick days and summer Friday afternoons off.
That's all great, but I am still PISSED at the way they handle maternity leave!!
My job doesn't offer short-term disability, but once you're there for three years, you get six weeks of sick/personal time, or something. So I guess they don't want people starting there and getting pregnant right away! I have one or two weeks of sick/personal this year...
Do you also have vacation time too, Jesse, or is that personal time.
H and I are watching DW. He had never seen any of them before, and we started with Nine. We've gotten almost as far into S3 as I was when there was illness or scheduling conflict or sommat and I got behind and then gave up.
We got through S1 and into S2 Torchwood and I made us stop until we got TW background on DW. For someone with little patience with tv at all, he really enjoyed TW, and is liking DW even better.
Next year? Buffy and Angel! Maybe.
Muchmusic are playing buffy at 7 PM, so I often watch while I'm eating supper. They're up to season 4. It's amazing how much I've forgotten, and how much I remember about the show. And the fashions haven't aged well.
