Every nightmare I have that doesn't revolve around academic failure or public nudity is about that thing. In fact, once I dreamt that it attacked me while I was late for a test and naked.

Do you also have vacation time too, Jesse, or is that personal time.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

H and I are watching DW. He had never seen any of them before, and we started with Nine. We've gotten almost as far into S3 as I was when there was illness or scheduling conflict or sommat and I got behind and then gave up.

We got through S1 and into S2 Torchwood and I made us stop until we got TW background on DW. For someone with little patience with tv at all, he really enjoyed TW, and is liking DW even better.

Next year? Buffy and Angel! Maybe.

Muchmusic are playing buffy at 7 PM, so I often watch while I'm eating supper. They're up to season 4. It's amazing how much I've forgotten, and how much I remember about the show. And the fashions haven't aged well.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Vacation is separate. I get three weeks of that.

re: rewatching Buffy--I've lost my taste for the teen angst, I'm afraid. I'm still all over the vampires and demons and whatnot, but the existential angst of being in high school makes me reach for the fast forward. Unless it's funny. Or really wonderful, like Cordy telling off the Cordettes and walking away with Xander.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's certainly a step up from the Cessna 152.

The club has those, too. Rather more of them, actually, and they're easier to schedule. But I'm large, and my weight plus that of the instructor (plus fuel and etc.) would put me over the limit for the 152s. I may take up a Cessna 172 a few times, as my instructor thinks the Warriors are too forgiving and can lead to sloppy piloting. But those are more expensive to train in.

I do love the silhouettes of the Warriors, though.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Jesse, I am traumatized.

mac pulled himself out of a downward spin tonight. it totally clicked for him that he had a choice: do A and get the result he wanted, or not do A and get zippo. it was a struggle for him, but he pulled through with only a few tears and very little effort from me.

Can I get a Hallelujah!

Woohoo, I just got back my homework from last week, and even though I completely blew it off and wrote what I thought was a rather shitty report, I got full marks for it! Now I really should start to work on my presentation for July 1st, as well as my final project for August. Maybe this weekend for the first thing.
