Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

These are the best. thing. ever.

Heh. Especially the man attacked by water!ferrets. Or the man attacked by lobsters (which are red, so they've already been cooked).

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

There's also man (and strangely asleep? woman) being chewed to bits by turtles! That cover made me have to excuse myself.

Because books.

The articles are hysterical, too. "Sex-starved Vacationists!"

You mean the woman who can't seem to keep her red shirt buttoned? and who's not wearing a bra?

See, this is why women should keep their shirts buttoned - they might pass out while being attacked by turtles.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Can you say yes, you do mind?

Well, since I'm hoping to be promoted soon, I'm trying to be good. But I did say I'd do it only if I could work it into time off in with my sister or The Boys.

megan, if you do come, let me know! I'm twenty minutes outside of Syracuse!

Awesomecakes! We're waiting to hear whether the presentation is a go, but if it is I will probably take that week off and have some time either the night before or after. As per usual, I have no details yet.

Kat, were you the one who read and loved Christine Falls? I just picked it up and it looks really good.

Just shout. I'm pretty sure we're not doing anything that weekend.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I am. I really really enjoyed it, Amy. Very page turning. Even though the ending is somewhat expected and the first two chapters were confounding.

But Dublin 1950s seems made for Noir.

Well there's also a woman with an open red shirt and no bra in "the river of crawling death," but she seems alert enough. Her brave man seems to be willing to go to bat to keep those tatas safe.

Perhaps it's the same woman and the sight of her red shirt and bralessness just drives random small wildlife crazy.
