Now hold on, I'm gonna press the right pedal harder. I expect us to accelerate.

Have you seen the palindrome movie that won an AARP contest: [link] It's kinda cool because the meaning changings when you read and hear the text the opposite direction. (Not a true palindrome, but sort of).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Good morning shiny people!

There are shiny people, in the morning?

I don't think that should be allowed.

I'm a relatively shiny person. I mean, in my household that is. But I have lots to look forward to.

I have the final IEP for Grace - here's to us getting her the therapies she needs.

Fingers crossed, Kat.

Even if you have to be shiny.

Well, my other option is not shiny which doesn't work too well.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Good on Grace. That should be shiny making.

I'm a little aglow this week with family and friend stuff, but otherwise it's a normal week with crazy work and standard pain, which is a bummer. I wish I could at least change the pain status quo. The work thing I'm getting a handle on.

The marathon call last night was fascinating, though. I can't imagine why anyone spends any time around my family when we're not on our good behaviour. Dear lord, those people (yeah, them) are crazy. We're so dialled up to 11. I can't even imagine how any of us can hold down relationships. Not that many of us do.

The news in Australia just got more awesome. Student rescued from muggers by ninjas

Well, I have something to say if anyone asks about the last thing that made me smile.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In further "I want to marry Casper's friend Thomas" news, his mother reports that he told her a list of reasons she chose Casper over other girls, who are either too bossy or too quiet. I guess Casper is juuust right. (I think so too, but I may be prejudiced.)

Aw!!

Because books.

Fingers crossed on the IEP, Kat. Go Gracie!

This reminds me of last year. Sara came home with a picture she'd drawn of herself, Emma, and Noah -- they were all getting married together. It was so adorable, and so ... progressive!
