In further "I want to marry Casper's friend Thomas" news, his mother reports that he told her a list of reasons she chose Casper over other girls, who are either too bossy or too quiet. I guess Casper is juuust right. (I think so too, but I may be prejudiced.)

This reminds me of last year. Sara came home with a picture she'd drawn of herself, Emma, and Noah -- they were all getting married together. It was so adorable, and so ... progressive!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't find my skirt. That's the only skirt I had in my mental wardrobe for today. I've already picked the top. I'm already wearing the top. Adjustment will be disproportionately difficult if I can't locate the damned thing soon.

You need to do like Sara, and obsessively lay out your clothes the night before, down to socks, barrettes and/or headband. This follows asking me politely to check the weather, so she can plan appropriately.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
