Can a person who thinks that there should have been another solution/physical place for creating the state of Israel think that way without being an anti-semite?
I would say that that opinion doesn't necessarily make someone an antisemite, but I have very rarely heard that opinion expressed quite that neutrally -- it usually comes with all kinds of other stuff that is antisemitic. I guess it depends on what the other solution would have been, maybe.
Like opening with, "If we ran the world after WWII, and knowing what we know now, what would we have done."
Need to go back further than that. 1880s at least, I'd think.
That's almost as disappointing as Scrabble allowing proper nouns.
[er, the new Clue rules, not the State of Israel.]
I believe now you always go clockwise and ask until you actually see a card.
What what whaaaaat? Fuck that noise!

You know that's actually not at all true, right?
Sure, no snakes are coming after them and they can become a rock star if they want!
This is what I'm saying.
You know that's actually not at all true, right?
What? No, I hadn't heard.
Yeah, it's just some spinoff game or something. Not at all changing the real rules of Scrabble.
It was all downhill after the release of the first Scrabble dictionary.
Yeah, the original thing went viral instantly, but the explanation didn't have the same traction. Not SENSATIONAL enough.
We had this marvellous game in England which was British Rail, and you had to work out how to get from place A to place B most efficiently, and we were all up on the entire rail system plus tourist destinations. Such geeky fun.
I adore board games. But I'm not up so much on American ones, I don't think. Candyland is a blank to me.
Changing the rules of Scrabble is like killing Ianto. There's only so much I can take.

That's marginally better, but it's still Wrong.
