Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Brenda, you should ask Billytea about names. He found a perfect one for new cat when was totally stuck.

Also, CUTIEHEAD DOGGIE.

I have had a completely unhealthy day with Juliana involving booze and chocolate. And a tiny bit of walkng, to mitigate the rest.

Now in the way home, but may stop at In and out, to mitigate the walking.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Anyone recommend any free diet journaling sites?

I've been using MyPlate for a while now.

That's what I've been using too. P used it on her iPhone. I would do that too but I don't have an iPhone.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

You'll get some more before the day is out. I think they're moving west to east and we're still getting them off and on.

The high in my hometown today was 107. Currently 102. Of course, their low is 69 and the humidity is a whopping 6%. Gotta love high desert.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Texas is mostly bereft of storms during the hottest months.

Houston, Austin, Dallas have very different climates. Given the size of the state, I think "Texas" is too general.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Brenda, we're having the same kind of weather today. One minute it is beautiful the next it is pouring rain.

Darby is adorable!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hmm. Looks like the last batch of storms passed us to the south, but at least it's cooled off a bit.

Still going to use the AC in Dylan's room tonight because the mosque next door installed a new loudspeaker right outside his window. Lovely neighbors, really. So considerate. (They also managed to drip mortar all over our yard AND the neighboring daycare's yard during this construction process, which makes me suspect it's being done illegally. All the contractors we've spoken to about our own building's brickwork emphasized repeatedly the amount of protective scaffolding we would need - these guys don't have any.)
