Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Kat, I wish there was something--anything--that I could do for you and your family, besides sending all the ~ma I've got.

It all sucks, and you shouldn't have to go through it. I'm sorry that Grace being home is not the unmitigated joy it should be.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

GOOD GOD you guys talk a lot. This isn't a complain or anything, but I guess I wasn't expecting like 193 new messages when I woke up! This is what happens when you sleep while everyone else is awake, I suppose.

Man, tornado sirens! Those suck. I've never seen a tornado, but when I was at school in northern Minnesota they'd go off from time to time. No fun at all.

I am suddenly reminded of non-life-threatening weather phenomena - anyone ever seen heat lightning? I think that's what it's called. I saw it once in Minnesota, it's amazing!

Oh, and 'cause someone asked - I'm learning Mandarin!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What Maria said, Kat. I wish there were something more we could do for you.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

The final shred of a long line of possible-tornado-spawning storms is passing overhead now. Soon, I will be able to go to bed.

Fucking weather. Global warming will get rid of all this weather, right?

If so, excuse me while I go set fire to a case of hairspray. Go, CFCs! Go!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

zuisa, Natter and Bitches generally run the fastest. I dunno if you've poked about in other threads, but they tend to run slower.

Heat lightning is pretty cool.

I am glad the only language I know is a dead one. My accent in Spanish and French is to-die-laughing.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh, and 'cause someone asked - I'm learning Mandarin!

Hee. I would hope so, you're at an odd end of the country for Cantonese.

I am glad the only language I know is a dead one.

That's a remarkably downbeat view of English.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Global warming will get rid of all this weather, right?
If so, excuse me while I go set fire to a case of hairspray.

Reverse that.

Score! Give me an A, would you?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Man Mauled by Bear after Smoking Pot

It was probably his fault for giving the bear the pot in the first place.
