The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What Maria said, Kat. I wish there were something more we could do for you.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

The final shred of a long line of possible-tornado-spawning storms is passing overhead now. Soon, I will be able to go to bed.

Fucking weather. Global warming will get rid of all this weather, right?

If so, excuse me while I go set fire to a case of hairspray. Go, CFCs! Go!

zuisa, Natter and Bitches generally run the fastest. I dunno if you've poked about in other threads, but they tend to run slower.

Heat lightning is pretty cool.

I am glad the only language I know is a dead one. My accent in Spanish and French is to-die-laughing.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh, and 'cause someone asked - I'm learning Mandarin!

Hee. I would hope so, you're at an odd end of the country for Cantonese.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Global warming will get rid of all this weather, right?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Man Mauled by Bear after Smoking Pot

It was probably his fault for giving the bear the pot in the first place.

Librarian Warlord

zuisa, glad we didn't scare you off. Threadsuck is your friend for catching up.

-t, good to see you posting. If there's anything you need, please ask.

It's too hot today for anything but laziness. DH and I are going to take the dog and the baby down the street to Capital City Cheesecake for second breakfast, then on to the Farmer's Market and the dog store.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am currently regretting not buying the Next Stop, Wonderland soundtrack at the library yeseterday -- it's a lot of samba and bossa nova, and now I'm listening to Sergio Mendes on NPR, and wishing I had anything brasilian to listen to...
