msbelle, someone (don't know who) brought a hummingbird cake into work today.

I felt all smart when I asked someone the ingredients of the cake that was sitting in the kitchen and, when they said them, I was able to ask "Oh, is it a hummingbird cake?"

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

"Bridge the gap between medicine and law"

and wants me to use a picture of a bridge under it. Which she has helpfully found for me off the internet at 72 dpi (this piece will be professionallty printed) with a white background.

It's like you work at my office.

Try Morguefile for free photos that can be used for corporate stuff and are generally high-resolution.

Oh, I meant to tell y'all about the dream I had in the wee hours this morning!! I had woken up on the couch at 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep, so decided to play my new WALL-E dvd with the director commentary, and fell back asleep. I then proceeded to dream about having gotten my MLS and having an interview as the reference librarian at Pixar. It was an awesome dream, and it ended with me having a celebratory "I got the job!" party at the Zmayhems with all the SF-istas attending!!

happy to help megan.

sad but true statement. I think I am going to be more productive in the hours I work from home than I am at work, even with mac trying to distract me from time to time and me listening to music (multi-tasking in listening to things I need to rank, for those that know of my 101 list).

Now tagless for your comfort.

Yasterday at a play date, Liv came out of the bathroom with her pants around her ankles yelling, "I can't find the wipes!"

I have Terrence Howard's love child.

Last day of school, Casper came home with a book of stories each of her classmates wrote about her. Several people mentioned that she likes or loves Thomas. The story by Thomas goes:

[Casper] is a super friend because she is nice. She is also pretty. She is a good friend. She is the one I want to marry. Me and her have a lot in common. We both like ice cream and cake, and stuff like that. She is invited to my birthday party. She is a good friend. I also lllooovvveee her! She is my most granted girl friend.

It was illustrated with a picture of them getting married. He's in a top hat.

He's actually a total doll, and his parents are great. If they still love each other in 20 years, I will be all for the wedding. And I will trot out this paper to embarrass them with.

Please blow it up to poster size first.

She is my most granted girl friend.

I don't know what this means, but it sounds flattering!

Yeah, I have no child care for Friday yet. Tomorrow I am pawning her off on my very kind SAH neighbor. Don't be too jealous.

  • I* kind of want to marry Thomas.
