Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Huh. I have to get my sister on Skype. I really don't even think about that all that much, but I have a shiny new webcam on my shiny new laptop, and I've never used it.

Dan skypes with the kiddo a couple of times a week, and it's a great tool for that.

Oh Crap, Plei. I was going to recommend the Diva Hotel which is where we stayed and was lovely. And not too expensive, even with Noah on a King Size Murphy Bed (seriously!)

I hope that noah and grace are somewhere btw 3T and 5T, I grabbed a few things.

YES. Well, Grace is. Noah is like a size negative something. He cannot keep his pants from falling down.

BTW, Gracie just crawled across the floor, pulled herself up to stand, cruised the couch so she could press buttons on my laptop. I guess I should go play?

I proctored the SAT this morning. Should I also get dolled up and show up at Prom tonight?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

welcome, zuisa!

I am also a former New Englander now, that's sort of weird to think.

Man, I cannot believe how much awesome food there is in this city.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

YES. Well, Grace is. Noah is like a size negative something. He cannot keep his pants from falling down.

In my experience, at SOME point (around age 4-5), they stop making the waistbands on the pants so damn big. Now Lily can wear pants and not have them in a puddle at her ankles! It's great!

We're getting into SF on the 25th, leaving the area on the morning of the 28th.

Well, crap. I'm flying into SF on the 22nd and leaving on the 24th. Not that I'll have time for much if my boss has his way.

Hotel Diva: [link]

It's part of the Personality Hotels, which are great. They are small and quirky and fun. Very nice service.

Brenda: \\o/ Juliana and I are going to be scheming tomorrow.

shrift, do you have my cell, in case you have time for last minute dinner or a drink or something when you are here?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Now Lily can wear pants and not have them in a puddle at her ankles! It's great!

Oh how I look forward to this day! My child has no butt, and now that we're in pull-ups instead of cloth dipes, all his pants fall down ALL THE TIME.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you think you have enough to work with?

I gots some raw materials, yeah.

Kat! I got dresses from Burrell! I haven't tried them on yet, but they're very pretty.

Someone (msbelle) linked to elastics with clips you can use to cinch the back of oversized tops. What are they called? I'd like to buy one or two for some of the stuff I bought when I was a size 8, or stuff I have to size for my boobies that's loose for my waist and back.
