I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Whenever I've met anyone famous, I've usually assumed it was a coworker. It's my default you look familiar assumption. Sometimes I clue in, sometimes I don't.

Storm blew through and I was able to swim, yay!

I hope you have one smooth night (or more!) soon, msbelle.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Google has failed me. I'm trying to find an article that was being linked all over the place last year or maybe the year before. It was written by a guy who was talking about how he learned that the way to get women to date him was to stop being so nice. One example that he gave of his "niceness" that didn't result in a date was when he painted a female friend's apartment while she went out on a date with another guy. Anybody remember this and have the link? I've tried every search string that I can think of, and got nothing.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Food question: do you people add stuff to your ground beef to make yummier hamburgers, and if so, what? I'm currently contemplating a raw egg and some bread crumbs.

Salt, pepper, garlic powder, chopped onion, blenderized oatmeal, Worcestershire sauce. Not sure how much of each, I learned it from my Dad, and it's always done by look and feel and smell. He learned it from the guy who had the burger stand across from his high school back in the '50s.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, at Just For Laughs or the comedy club, you figure it's not going to be a coworker per se. Randomly in LA, some people do hit that niche of familiar that means friend-of-a-friend or communications-expert-on-Enterprise. Or sometimes it's just J Lo. At whom I just stared, because I'd never seen anyone look more *just* like their posed and brushed photos before. Also, who the fuck wants to talk to J Lo? She was in another car, anyway, staring right back at me.

Got my meds! I will at least half be able to sleep tonight! I'm very excited.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

When I saw Fern Mallis at the train station, I really almost went up to her to ask where we knew each other from, until I realized I knew her from Project Runway.

Yes! I'd thought it was older than that, and when I tried to find that post, I started searching in Natter 64 and went backward from there. Thank you!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

From way back

I don`t think I mentioned, but I wore my pretty pretty dress from Perkins to the SO`s symphony concert and got a ton of compliments.

Excellent! I liked that dress a lot, but it was totally the wrong color for me, but I bet it's awesome on you. We need pictures!

-t says hi, all.
