I had a burger for lunch. It was a shrimp and scallop burger which I wouldn't have tried except I trusted the restaurant to get things right. It was yum.
Watching basketball now.
This board brought me to Leverage. I shall never doubt you again.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I would totally freak if I ever met Joan Baez. Or Bonnie Raitt. Jane Fonda but to a lesser degree.
I have been resisting a burger for some time now, and I think tomorrow might be the night!
or blurt out things like "OHMYGODYOUAREEVENCUTERTHANYOURPHOTOS".
He Is.
I think I would be good meeting anyone else, other than Nelson Mandela, but there might be a Monty Python clause in general effect. I wouldn't have predicted Mr. Idle.
Eric Idle? I just bolted as soon as I could. I was convinced I was going to ask him to father my children, no joke, no exaggeration
I totally get this!! I met him at a hotel in Toronto (we were both staying on the same floor). I said good evening as we got on the elevator and then had to shut the hell up because I thought I was going to wet myself right then and there.
I met Matthew Broderick at that same hotel and didn't have that reaction.
I'll do egg in hamburger but not bread crumbs.
Whenever I've met anyone famous, I've usually assumed it was a coworker. It's my default you look familiar assumption. Sometimes I clue in, sometimes I don't.
Storm blew through and I was able to swim, yay!
I hope you have one smooth night (or more!) soon, msbelle.
Google has failed me. I'm trying to find an article that was being linked all over the place last year or maybe the year before. It was written by a guy who was talking about how he learned that the way to get women to date him was to stop being so nice. One example that he gave of his "niceness" that didn't result in a date was when he painted a female friend's apartment while she went out on a date with another guy. Anybody remember this and have the link? I've tried every search string that I can think of, and got nothing.
Food question: do you people add stuff to your ground beef to make yummier hamburgers, and if so, what? I'm currently contemplating a raw egg and some bread crumbs.
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, chopped onion, blenderized oatmeal, Worcestershire sauce. Not sure how much of each, I learned it from my Dad, and it's always done by look and feel and smell. He learned it from the guy who had the burger stand across from his high school back in the '50s.
