I certainly can't wait for those bug-eye glasses to go away.
I've been waiting for them to go away for the last three years, and the horrible things just keep lingering. HATE THEM.
My maternal grandfather's quality of life was pretty good up until about 93; it went downhill very fast after that, and by the time he finally passed at 96 it was heartbreaking but still a relief (but oh, how I'd give anything to have him meet Matilda). Until then, though, he was traveling and gardening and at 91 he got all excited because he'd just discovered Mark Twain, of whom he'd never read a word in his life before, and now he had a nice thick shelf of new-to-him novels and stories and essays to gobble down.
Is there such a thing as an anti-teleological theist? Because I firmly believe that God both exists and doesn't micro-manage, and that most of the shit that happens just happens because that's what shit does.

M RDJ, C the other two because, dude,
RDJ.
I tend to associate plain white shirts with a) chorus or b) working at a grocery store. Probably because those are the only times I have willingly worn a white shirt.
I have had huge skin protecting issues of late (what with favorite cousin having had a growth removed FROM HER FACE!)so bug eyed glasses are my friend. "Men" can bite me.
clutches her headbands, Uggs, and oversized sunglasses to her chest
And hey "men"? (I use scare quotes cause honestly? I don't know what man would care enough to express an opinion on jumpsuits or tuxedos on women as a general thing. Joe might not like a particular item of clothing on me because it doesn't flatter me, but not just on the basis that it is a jumpsuit and all jumpsuits are horrible. Not that I'd wear a jumpsuit cause OH HAI HERE'S MY CROTCH PLZ LOOK AT IT is not a statement I'd like to make.) If you hate it that badly? Don't wear it.
In fact, I'd say if any one person of any one gender does not like any one particular piece of something, they should not wear it. Call me a rebel of some sort.

F - yes - after that,
M - JDM or JB depending on compatibility
C - RDJ and the least compatible of the other 2
don't think I could handle the day to day of recovery and that high of a profile, but everyone gets a test run.
Big sunglasses are great- I love mine, but they get smeared quickly if you use lots of sunscreen. I have smaller pairs that I use when I'm out walking/hiking.
I do not think men belong in tank tops, mostly.
Well, since we're talking about RDJ... [link]
GUH.
Who knew Audrey Hepburn was so unfashionable [link] [link]
Agh. Just lost long post.
Crap.
Ok -- sunglasses good, but not quite as big as Posh's.
Dad -- 70, and am ordered to "take me behind the barn and shoot me" if he ever gets Alzheimer's or senile dementia. My gran had it, and it was horrible, and he lives in bitter fear of it.
He's doing ok, though -- plays WoW (how CUTE is that?!), walks our Scottie every day, poker nights, coffee with my uncle weekly, reads a shitton of sci-fi, spent two years designing the Web site and creating CD's and artwork, and burning 100+ CD's for his 50th h.s. reunion, and making the yearbook.
So cute. I love it.
