"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

The Aqua is a beautiful building. It reminds me of Gaudi's work.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Here's an interesting photo gallery of Chicago high-rise balconies (both good and bad), including Aqua.

That was great -- just enough of the language of architechtural criticism for me!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Netflix was recommending me Doctor Who: The Curse of Fenric.

I read it as Doctor Who: The Curse of Fanfic.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I know someone who lives at Marina City, and she just loves being in such an iconic building (its corncob buildings are #10 on that photo gallery). She's lived there for decades now, and one of her favorite things about the unit is the balcony.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I was thinking about the Wil Wheaton / John Scalzi contest over lunch. I'm thinking of calling my (possible) entry "The Secret Life of Walter Kitty."

Is "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" available online somewhere?
