Burrell, I'm a wimp, too, about haunted houses.

We have found a solution for our nurseless- Grace issue! Noah's old daycare provider (whom we love) will take her for a week! On Sunday, we're going to go by and a do a brief training. Such a relief.

In other news, I have an AP workshop tomorrow. Interesting note, my kids are writing within the mean of the group -- they are not that far off in writing and they handle poetry better than many of the global group of students. But I can't figure out how to get them up and running on multiple choice.

In total random news, i have a groupon for Platine that I have to use.

Kat! I got the thermometer! It is awesome! Thanks!

I am so glad the nurse worked out!

YAY Thermometer! It's such a dumb thing to be excited about (on our end), but I love taking temperatures with it. Except when I forget to take the plastic cap off and it reads my temp as 72 degrees and I think it's broken. I'm so glad it arrived.

Thank god for Christine! She was a lifesaver for Noah and she will be one next week for Grace.

I've done that already!

It's more fun when I don't.

Teppy, did you know that Evil Dead the Musical is playing in Newport at the Falcon Theatre?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, thank goodness Kat. I was worrying about you.

And OMGSOTIRED. It's two here, but I'm just now getting wound down from the day's travel. And can I just say that online pizza delivery is an invention of the gods? Because when I'm so tired I'm incoherent and I can't even figure out what toppings I want, let alone work up the nerve to talk to humans, all I have to do is hit a few checkboxes and then someone brings me food. It is awesome.

So it turns out my flight delay was because there was a problem with the ENGINE while the plane was on its way from Puerto Vallarta and they had to make an emergency landing in Denver. Which okay, yes, please get me a functioning engine before you pick me up thankyewverymuch.

In the meantime I have a weird story about airport companions, but will wait until coherency returns. But since I ordered a pizza and ated it, I was able to cancel my morning wakeup call since I won't need to hit the buffet. So I will be sleeping in tomorrow, oh yes I will.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Phew! I'm glad you have a solution, Kat. Hey, I have clothes for you. We should arrange to get together one of these weekends.

Glad to hear you've arrived, Liese, although the travel sounds like it was a bit of a nightmare. Thank goodness for pizza.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It was actually mild. It only delayed me about an hour, and while I was worried, I still managed to pick up my rental car and get checked into the hotel and everything. The flight was good, all the customer service was good, I skirted the security line, I got my seat changed to window, there was an empty middle seat. Really, the only thing that could have been better is not to have had the delay.

Well, it would have been better if my flight got here early enough for me to have seen the Blackhawks whomp on the Blue Jackets, but I take my victories where I can get 'em.

And yeah, regardless, thank goodness for pizza. And free wi-fi.
