Willow: Yes. Hi. You must be Angel's handsome, yet androgynous, son. Connor: It's Connor. Willow: And the sneer's genetic. Who knew?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Perkins, I hope for as little discomfort as possible for you. You're an incredibly smart, funny, caring woman and I hope you know that.

...what happened to The morning crew?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I fell out of bed this morning. For reals. It was the cat's fault.

I stopped drinking caffeine?

Why are you up so early. It feels still ungodly early here and I have been at work for an hour.

I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep for a couple of hours. That rarely happens to me.

Oh Brenda! (I always try to make sure the animals fall out of bed not me.)

I took the cats in to the vet for checkup yesterday, mainly because I had found a lump on Clio and wanted to get it checked out. Clio hates her softsided carrier and I thought was going to shred her way out of it. The good news is that the vet thinks her lump is just fatty tissue and is has recommended that I watch it for the next couple of months to see if it grows. He is normally very cautious and science based, so he rarely gives opinions without tests...but he actually said that if it was his cat, he wouldn't be rushing to remove the lump.

Oz, who seemed perfectly calm on the way there, turned into a pile of hissing, snarling fear in the exam room. He was almost calm when the vet came in and he managed to examine him, but I was a wreck. And he's gained a pound over the last year!! So much for diet food.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Cats, man.

In the shower this morning, I was thinking about what sweater to wear today. Then I couldn't find it on my shelves, and I'm not sure if I actually own it or not! This is what happens when most of your clothes are variations on a theme.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Perkins, I'm glad #1 is over and you're feeling okay. I was thinking about you all day yesterday. While we're here for you virtually, I'm glad juliana is there IRL.

Brenda, no falling out of bed, mmmkay? That's not a good way to start your day.

We have a 1/2 day today (well, the students do, we have meetings in the afternoon) and because of the schedule, I have the first 2 periods off. Which is good because I'm exhausted today and moving kinda slow.

Art Crawl!!!

I got the weirdest message from Amazon. A package that has already shipped has been unavoidably delayed. And this was a package that I know that UPS has already tried to deliver.

Now, does this mean that sometime between the first delivery attempt on Wednesday and now - UPS has misplaced my package?

It's the only thing that makes sense, right?

Art Crawl!!!

No need to say that twice.

I was up because I am now at the airport, to fly to SF for a gay two-stepping convention!
