Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

There's no reason to wear a watch any more, what will cell phones and all, but I can't stop.

It's excellent man jewelry.

Burgundy is a faux neutral, like navy.

And blue jeans. Who in the hell decided washed denim was allowed with every possible t-shirt?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Uh, you're just making stuff up now. Forest green, I buy. But why burgundy?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Note: Blue burgundies go best with French navy (i.e. navy verging on slate) and greens in the olive family (olive, jungle green). Brown burgundies go best with orange/rust/tobacco colors.

Side note: In French, the color burgundy is called bordeaux.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

you understand I'm concerned with whether or not I clash with my car, right?

I think once or twice I've done that - where I picked what car to drive to work based on what I was wearing....

There's no reason to wear a watch any more, what will cell phones and all, but I can't stop.

If you wear a watch, it takes one second to check the time, whereas if you use your phone, you have to find it/dig it out of your pocket, open it/turn it on, etc.

Because books.

It totally has to match, because matchy matchy vital importance with all colours (you understand I'm concerned with whether or not I clash with my car, right? Today I do, since I'm wearing bright red).

Uh, Jesse, you want to take this one?

If I had more than one car, I'd totally do that.

I picked my first car colour because it didn't truly clash with anything (it was a navy so dark it looked black at first blush). I picked burgundy the second time round because it was my favourite colour (grey's not really a colour) and was more interesting than red.

Not because it's a neutral, because that's a lie you're all ganging up on me and telling.

Uh, other PM? CALL ME.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

my silver car goes with everything.

so I did a lot of stuff yesterday, but none of it was work. So I really should do work today, since they only pay me when I work., and yet...

I went to Target (less than $100), washed all the dishes in my sinks (it has started to get smelly), emptied the dishwasher, and responded to urgent emails (this I did for work too). That really should be enough.

I want to weed my yard and take a box full of stuff to goodwill and get out some fall clothes and watch some tv and knit and and and.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And howinhell can burgundy be a neutral? Now you're just making stuff up.

What does it NOT go with? And you're talking about leather, right? That double goes with anything.

This is not like when I had a pink coat.
