I picked my first car colour because it didn't truly clash with anything (it was a navy so dark it looked black at first blush). I picked burgundy the second time round because it was my favourite colour (grey's not really a colour) and was more interesting than red.

Having gone to a rock concert last night, I can confirm that it's what the kids are wearing.
