Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can someone explain to me why my father has me in his email address book by my middle name? He is so weird sometimes.

Had "expensive" supermarket sushi for lunch. It was halfway decent. By which I mean...suck it, Trader Joe's!

I have never had funnel cake. It sounds like weirdness.

Parenthood just broke me. I'm not sure if it's because I'm super tired and my nerves are frayed, or if it really did hit me that hard.

For a moment I thought I had missed something really big.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

If you like beignets, ita, you would like funnel cakes, I think. Except beignets are yeast-based, and funnel cakes are just flour, sugar, butter, eggs and water, I think.

The only reason they are called funnel cakes it's because you want the dough to be plopped in the oil all skinny; it gets crisp-chewy and light that way, but not crunchy.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

No thyroid cancer for me!

Yay!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

...so you use a funnel to pur the batter into the oil.

(Felt like there was a link missing if you weren't familiar with them to begin with.)

I usually love donuts, but right now they don't sound good.

I have primered the guest/music room. We will be painting the room a light bright yellow - but maybe not until spring. but currently I am tempted to dry brush the room in two closely related shades of yellow , but Matt might not approve. and his is mostly going to be his space.
