Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Wow, miner #20 is already on the way up. That seems fast!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

The last time I noticed, they had some chocolate dipped crullers (about a year ago) but none of the plain ones.

They replaced the cruller with a stick. It's like a lame cruller (none of the twisty goodness). Apparently the crullers required to much time and effort to make.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I literally can't remember the last time I went into Dunkin to buy a donut.

I can. After I dropped Amyth off at the airport last Saturday I dropped by the Dunkin Donuts on the way home, because I was craving an apple fritter. It was ok, but not great. When I rented a cabin in MI last summer, there was a small local bakery that had freshly made donuts and fritters. I went by several mornings and the baked goods were still warm. Those were some good fritters!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

The only cake doughnuts I like are Tim Horton's sour cream ones. Le nom. At Krispy Kreme, I ask them to fish out a doughnut for me before it gets glazed. It's basically sweet frybread at that point, and is nom.

Now I want Tim Horton's. Dammit.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just bought cupcakes. They have ghosts on them and lots of jimmies.

Om nom nom, obviously.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

LA is weird. Tons of supposed donut places, but not many places that actually specialize in donuts. Bob and I were talking about how to deal with getting donuts for a lot of people, and I suggested donut holes, but where to get donut holes? There's no Dunkin' here.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

So many happy birthdays! Happy birthday megan, Matt, ita's dad and Cashmere!

And Kathy, good for you for mostly keeping to your diet.

Mostly LA has not very good donuts, bon bon. There's yummy donuts near me at a place called Primo's Donuts, but it's an odd little hole-in-the-wall been there for decades.
