Newsweek had a graphic about getting stuff to the miners: [link]

Wow, they really fucking took care of them! That's amazing! All that through such a tiny little hole.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That was a disgusting doughnut. Please don't let me do that again.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Traffic has been diverted around Oakton Street and Ridge Avenue this morning after lightning struck a building at 431 Ridge, at about 9 a.m., causing damage to a tall chimney at that location.

The strike threw bricks into a third-floor residence at 437 Ridge, breaking windows, city of Evanston officials reported.

Crews are currently on the scene assessing further damage.

Huh. I went by this location (in a bus) about 10 minutes before it happened.

Was that the regular one or did you switch for a gourmet one?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just had a piece of a pumpkin cake thingy, and it was FANTASTIC.

Also, had a panic about my bank account, and then I learned that I (? or the bank?) double-paid my big credit card this month, so that's where the money went. At least it's in a better place, but that was scary.

OMG, I am totally buying that for my brother. My mother used to call us Heckle and Ralph, which for some reason, we thought were their names. We now know that they are Statler and Waldorf, but I still think of them as Heckle and Ralph.

It was a plebeian 59¢ doughnut. However, I think the core issue is that I don't actually like doughnuts.

No, don't ask.

I know how you feel. Whenever they get bought at work (an occasional thing), I give one a go, and it's never worth it. But, you know, free food!
