Ha, I have no idea where my crease is

I don't even know WHAT it is. But I don't wear eyeshadow, for perhaps obvious reasons. (I'd probably put it on my nose, or something.)

I don't even know what "stop the purple" is supposed to mean. But I don't have "good" eyelids either. Thanks to my fakely half-Asian mother.

Just yesterday, I was feeling smug about how long it had been since I hurt myself. (While talking to shrift about how she cut herself while cleaning a knife.)

Hey! I... can't decide if I'm protesting your smugness, or if I'm concerned that you keep doing injury to yourself. I guess I can multitask.

My eyelids are all crease. Sorry.

So I think I slept too much this weekend. I'm trying to decide if I should stay up for Castle, and start the cycle all over again (not enough sleep during the week/too much on the weekend), or get into bed and hope for the best.

I've been trying to figure out how to get my eyeliner to stop leaving smudge marks on my upper lid but none of the tips (from friends or youtube) have worked, thus far. Stupid oily eyelids. (Yes, I've tried different eyeliners.)

Even though they haven't solved my problem, the videos are pretty entertaining and informative. My eyelids are obviously stubborn rebels. Oily stubborn rebels.

I wasn't smug that you'd hurt yourself and I hadn't. I was just thinking it had been a while since I'd caused myself a decent amount of harm. Though I guess I did manage to destroy a toenail in June, which wasn't that long ago.

Sealant. Benefit's She-Laq, or Bare Escentuals Weather Everything. Put on your eyeliner, paint the sealant over it, wait about a minute to dry (or aim a hair dryer on "low" at your closed eyes), and then it shouldn't smudge.

I have solved this problem by using liquid eyeliner that requires jojoba oil and a lot of work to remove, but I understand this solution is not for everyone.

This makeup conversation is getting to me. I've put on a full face just to go to the movies tonight, and I'm thinking about a Sephora trip to reward myself.

I just mean, lots of those tutorials say stuff like put one color on your lid, then a darker color to the crease, then light color on the inside third, or whatnot. But I don't have the crease, so I don't know where I should put the darker color or whatever. But then I came across a few other things that said I shouldn't use that color order anyway. Which makes some sense, because that puts the primary color on the lid, which on me is almost always completely concealed.

Okay, I would have to draw the line at any makeup technique that requires me to aim a hair dryer at my face.
