"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

(But he did get to do one of Bobby Orr for the Bruins, so nyah)

Definitely better than a statue of an egotistical loudmouth. Hull was mega-talented, but inherited not one iota of his father's class.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

We skated in the UWSP homecoming parade this morning. Mid-State Sisters of Skate!

AWESOME

The drill reached the Chilean miners!

Also AWESOME

I got my hair cut then and then ated too much sushi at lunch with Juliana, and then wandered around a bit, which was also awesome.

Not as awesome, I checked my work email and found an email from one of our associates asking that I call her right away for rush help. I called, and got her voice mail, so I told her she really should email her request to me and the SF librarians, and one of us would help her as soon as we could.

Less than 5 minutes later, she calls me back, and tells me she doesn't need help, so I tell her again that if she does, she need to email all of the librarians. I also email her saying the same thing, and tell her it's especially important these days because I will be sporadically out on medical leave.

5 minutes later she called me back, because she thought of more help she needed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Alien in what way?

The idea that you'd organise a makeup free day for any motivational end. It's just makeup. And you're a teenager. If you can't not wear it now, when can you not wear it?

That having been said, I can go months without wearing any, or shaving anything other than my head, so obviously not that femme.

The Jezebel article that linked to it said that it was awkward to start out with, and people questioned them on it. Seriously? It's just makeup.

But I realise there's no way my mother would have let me wear that much that regularly that young.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

@@, Perkins. At the associate, of course.

The drill reached the Chilean miners!

That is awesome!

OMG, I am so full. Full of vegetables, so that's good. Kind of a warm salad of potatoes, beets, and green beans, with some feta. Roasting is still better.

Oh, but I think teenagers who Wear Makeup REALLY think they need it. They are wrong, but you know, teenagers.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Matt, I am pleased to report that the Hull statue is, in fact, fugly.

If you're curious, here's a pic of the Orr statue.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Speaking of makeup...I have worn make up to work every day for the past month. Except the day we had back to school night and the following day which was picture day.

Awesome.

My pictures are ugly. Like i have a giant shiny five-head. It's HYSTERICAL.

Your dad made that, Anne? That's awesome.

So I called the nurse hotline about my eyeball situation, and she said to go into the doctor. But thinking back, I now think they always say that! But she also suggested an antihistamine. I know Claritin is non-drowsy, but I'm not sure if it would keep me up. Hmmmm.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I should start wearing makeup to the jobsite.
