Oh dear - I can't wait to see this:
First look at The Simpsonized Daniel Radcliffe, as a sparkle vamp!
The Simpsons' annual Treehouse of Terror's big celebrity cameo this year is none other than THE Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe. But in a twist, he's playing another beloved teen icon — "Edward" the vampire. Check out Radcliffe's Simpsons-meets-Twilight look.
The Treehouse of Terror will air November 7th at 8 PM.
My current neighborhood is great in many ways, but it does lack social contact. I mean, I know the people at the corner store and cafe, but that's about it. They do dote on Matilda, though.
I expect I'll know more people in the area because we're going to the local elementary school. But the amenities in my area are great. Fantastic bookstore and record store nearby, and I can eat my way around the world just going down Haight Street.
3) West Portal, San Francisco
Might have to head out there for Halloween this year and see all their Harry Potter themed houses.
2000 ping pong balls in weightlessness is completely awesome. What I really want to see is that dude's flip video.
10/10/10 is my sister's birthday.
I know everyone in my neighborhood, but that's only two people. Hee. So if any of you want to move out, there are lots for sale for about $19,000.
I like my current neighborhood too. I'm walking distance from three libraries, my comic book store, my bank, Safeway, CVS, and various eateries on College and Piedmont, not to mention two BART stations and a Trader Joe's if I'm a little more ambitious. But "walking distance" can also mean "short drive."
Google has a sweet John Lennon logo too.

I was thinking of doing that myself. Too bad the new movie is not out yet; they'll still be on HP6.
I really liked my immediate neighbors at my last apartment (friendly and quiet), but the neighborhood around us was a slum.
For that whole neighborhood community thing I think I'd have to go back to the subdivision my folks and I lived in from 1979-1991. Lots of friends next door, carpooling, kids gathering at the local liability risktrampoline, block parties and so forth.
I've never lived anywhere that I even knew my neighbors, after I moved away from home to go to college. I know my current next-door neighbor, but if this weren't a duplex I'm not sure I'd ever have met her.
