Saints play at 3:05 and Cowboys at 4:15. I am anticipating a fight over the tvs at the bar Sunday.
I love my neighborhood. There is so much in walking/biking distance, and we're close to downtown where I work. [link]
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Love, especially "the cast".
Unauthorized debit from my bank account.
You've told the bank, right?
I'm talking to the merchant right now, Fred. DH is going to talk to the bank on his way back to work.
So I just ran the numbers and if closing really happens today and money gets to my bank early next week then I can pay back my parents within the week, and then a get a small mortgage on this house. Then I can pay the interest I owe them and pay off all my credit cards. OMG I LOVE THIS PLAN!
Urg. I'm having 2 separate fb conversations with each of my cousins (they're sisters). My uncle (their dad) is in the hospital, and my aunt (their step-mom) has taken away his phone because she wants him to have his rest. Then, she's posting about how her son (my cousins' half brother) went to see him yesterday (he's been in since Monday-which is the last time my cousins were able to talk to him) and she was all on about how my uncle had been depressed and wouldn't get out of bed until her son showed up.
The cousins are each flipping out in their own ways. One is full on "BITCH IS TRYING TO KILL MY DAD!!" the other just wants to get up there and is pissed at having to go around her step-mother.
What was your favorite neighborhood ever?
1) St-Germain des Prés, Paris
2) Cobble Hill, Brooklyn
3) West Portal, San Francisco
While I hated living in the convent hostel, the neighbourhood was great, and it was within walking distance of school. Hampstead Garden Suburb was also a really nice place to live. Knightsbridge had its perks.
The precise last neighbourhood I lived in in LA was great for walkability to shops and stuff. But this one is better for looking at houses, etc.
Hm, dream neighborhoods I have visited but not actually lived in:
The whole region in Rome around Campo Dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon.
In Paris, the 4eme arrondissement. Damn it, some time I will get back to Paris.
In Boston, I would love to live on Beacon Hill.
Hm, I am sadly noticing a theme of requiring millions of dollars. I am such a snob.
Oh dear - I can't wait to see this:
First look at The Simpsonized Daniel Radcliffe, as a sparkle vamp!
The Simpsons' annual Treehouse of Terror's big celebrity cameo this year is none other than THE Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe. But in a twist, he's playing another beloved teen icon — "Edward" the vampire. Check out Radcliffe's Simpsons-meets-Twilight look.
The Treehouse of Terror will air November 7th at 8 PM.
